ClassNori CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Published and effective: 2026-09-27

Eumware Inc. ("the Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws. This policy explains how the ClassNori websites (www.classnori.com, download.classnori.com) and the information that ClassNori software exchanges with the Company's servers are handled.

ClassNori is classroom-management software used by schools inside the classroom. Student screens, input, chat and files exchanged during a lesson travel only between the teacher PC and the student PCs; they are never sent to or stored on the Company's servers. The information the Company handles is limited to what is listed below.

1. What we process, why, and for how long

The Company processes the following information. Unless noted otherwise, it is provided by you or generated automatically while the software is used.

The Company does not collect personal data of children under 14. This website is intended for staff and purchasing contacts of schools and educational institutions.

2. Lesson data — the Company does not collect it

Screen sharing, detailed view, remote control, chat and notes, quiz and survey answers, file transfer and submission, and internet-restriction records exchanged between the teacher console and student clients are processed only inside the institution's own network. The Company does not receive this data and cannot see it.

Accordingly, the data controller for personal data of students and teachers processed during lessons is the school or institution operating the software, not the Company. The institution is responsible for the notices and consents required by its own rules and applicable law.

Two features are exceptions: they use an external service, and only when the teacher turns them on (off by default).

  • Live captions: classroom audio is sent to the Microsoft Azure Speech service (Korea region) and converted to text.
  • Chat and note translation: the text is sent to the Microsoft Azure Translator service (Korea region).

In both cases the audio or text goes directly from the teacher console to Azure; it does not pass through the Company's servers and the Company does not store it. The Company's server only issues the short-lived authentication token needed for that connection. Microsoft's privacy terms apply as well, and an institution that enables these features is responsible for notifying data subjects (minors in particular) and obtaining any required consent.

3. Cookies and advertising measurement

This website has no sign-up or login and uses no cookies that are necessary for it to work.

The Company uses a Google Ads tag to measure advertising performance. The tag stores cookies only after you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice; until then it is configured so that Google stores no cookies and collects no advertising data (Google Consent Mode).

Your choice is stored only in your browser (local storage) and is not sent to the Company's servers. You can change it at any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, and you can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Refusing does not limit your use of the website.

The feedback page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated abuse. Turnstile checks browser characteristics and does not set cookies that identify you.

4. Processors and international transfers

The Company entrusts the following processing to the providers below. The Company does not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Processing by Cloudflare and Google may take place on servers outside Korea. Cloudflare acts automatically from the moment you connect, to protect the site; Google acts only for visitors who gave consent.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of the personal data the Company holds about you. Send the request to the privacy officer below by email or phone; the Company will act without delay.

Where the license contract is with an institution, the request may be made through that institution. Deletion may be restricted for data the Company is legally required to keep, for the duration of that obligation.

6. Security measures

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) for the website and the license, error-report and language APIs.
  • Data minimisation — the software is designed not to send the servers anything beyond the items in the table above.
  • Access control — only authorised staff can access license records, and access is logged.
  • Credentials for external services are kept only on the Company's servers, never inside the teacher console or student client.
